Behind the Scenes
My Role
During my time on this project, I was responsible for recording and mixing the audio, with a Zoom H5 recorder, as well as operating the boom microphone for portions of the shoot, although I mainly relied on another crew member named Gino to help with holding the boom microphone. My other main responsibility was figuring out where to place the microphone myself and Gino as to not interfere with the shot but still get the clearest audio possible. During the concert scene I had to figure out on the fly how to use the venues sound board and link that as well as all of the microphones and equipment to the recorder.
Fundraising
As this project was an independently funded project our director Chris provided a huge financial contribution to the project but alas it was not enough. We then had to get creative and start selling merchandise and starting a GoFundMe to raise money as well.

Social Media
Something that was very important was to promote our tv pilot this was mainly done on Instagram. The team also put together a promotional poster shown below.
The End
After we finished filming it was very important that we have somewhere to showcase all of this hard work. The director was able to talk with the people over at Amazon Prime and get us a spot. Wave was filmed October 2021 - March 2022 and will be premiering on November 18th, 2022.
